ARTICLE I. Making a purchase

To make a purchase on the site www.chockies.net, nothing is easier!
Just add in your cart, the products you wish to order for a minimum amount of 25 euros and when you're done, click view the basket (top right corner) and follow the instructions ... Confirm agreement of the terms and conditions and then checkout the order.

After payment, an order confirmation will be sent by mail. This order confirmation contains full information entered by yourself as well as a description of the order, taking the total price of the order and delivery charges. To the order confirmation will be attached a right of withdrawal.

When ordering, the customer must inform its exact coordinates, ie name, billing address, delivery address (if different from the billing address), phone number, and e -mail.

Chockies - Belgian Grocery store can not be held responsible if the customer mentions the wrong coordinates.

In case of return of the order for these reasons Chockies - Belgian Grocery will not return the order unless the customer pays back the postage. In the same case, if the order is lost, Chockies - Belgian Grocery will make no refund.

ARTICLE II. The stock

The stock count is carried out automatically on this site. However, computer problems are not discarded and, if for any reason the product you requested is not in stock, we will inform you via email so you can either be reimbursed or choose alternative items .

ARTICLE III. Payment

Payment must be made by the customer during the validation of his order and must be made in euros. The order will be processed upon receipt of payment by Chockies - Belgian Grocery.

ARTICLE IV. Before delivery

The preparation of packages can take up to 48 hours if all the products are in stock. From the beginning of the preparation to the complete order it takes 48 hours before the package itself is shipped. Note that Saturday and Sunday are not working days, no activity is expected for these days.

(For example: an order placed on Friday evening will be shipped at the latest on Tuesday if all items are in stock.)

We send your order at least 48 hours following the purchase if the products ordered are in stock. Please bear in mind that Saturday and Sunday are not classed as working days. Please refer to Section IV for more information.

The delivery time depends on the country where the package is sent. This can range from 1 to 2 days and up to 8 days in some countries. We cannot be responsible for delays caused by any third parties.

When the package arrives at the carrier, it becomes the property of the customer. Chockies is not responsible for any damage, loss or import fees relating thereto. We are not responsible for payment of customs duties or other local taxes or costs. Such fees, costs or taxes are for the customer. The customer is optionally also required to make the necessary declarations to the competent authorities of the country of delivery.

The delivery price depends on the total weight of the order, the volume of articles and the number of articles. The final basket will calculate the appropriate charge for you before your payment. The shipping costs and possible customs costs are borne by the customer exclusively.
In case of seizure of the package for reasons such as products banned in your country of residence, no refund will be made by CHOCKIES. It is your responsibility to check the possibility of importing the products ordered in your country of residence.

CHOCKIES reserves the right to change rates at any time to adapt to any change of prices imposed by its suppliers or related to changes in postage. The price is that of the date the order was placed.

If specifics are needed for postage, please let us know either by leaving a message in your order or by sending us an email with the associated order number.

Orders are delivered against signature for receipt.

You are required to verify the order when received. If the package containing the order appears damaged, you agree to immediately inspect it in presence of the deliveryman. If the order is damaged, you will note the description of the damage and your possible remarks on the delivery sheet. You then agree to notify CHOCKIES by email within 24 hours ensuring to attach photos (outer box + inner box + damaged goods) to support your claim. CHOCKIES will refund or replace damaged products within 14 days.
In case some products are damaged in their box without damage to the exterior package upon delivery, you must inform CHOCKIES within 24 hours of the signing of the delivery bill ensuring to attach photos to support your claim. CHOCKIES will refund or replace damaged products within 14 days.

We offer two options for delivery with UPS. Home delivery, generally more expensive but requires no movement; the transporter will deliver the parcel once. If you do not take delivery for any reason, your package will be placed at the access point closest to you so that you can pick it up in a reasonable amount of time (max. 10 days). Or you can opt for a delivery straight to an access point, which typically costs less.

For some countries, the UPS delivery is not available.

The Mondial Relay services

Mondial Relay offers its low-cost delivery service for your maximum 20 kg orders.

You may choose for an access point delivery (for France, Belgium, Luxemburg and Spain) or home delivery (only available for Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg, the United Kingdom, Italy and Portugal).

Other services

If none of these services are suittable for you, you can also use traditionnal delivery via regular postage (BPOST - Colissimo) or via Chronopost (France mainland only).

For your fresh products, your order will be shipped via Chronopost Chronofresh on Tuesday or Friday. This delivery method is only available for residents of France mainland. This guarantees preservation of the cold chain and tracability thanks to a one-day delivery*. Thus, you will receive your fresh goods faster.

*Some postal codes may require additional time.

ARTICLE VI. Withdrawal Rights

In case of non-payment from you upon command, it will be canceled 14 calendar days after it was requested.

To order, you have a period of 14 calendar days to withdraw from the contract of sale in accordance with Article 47 § 1 of the Law of 06/04/2010.

ARTICLE VII. Return Policy

The return of NON FOOD goods must be done within 14 days after receipt and they should come back in the same condition as when shipped, unopened for packages and boxes, otherwise no refund will be made. The return of goods will be in charge of the buyer.

If you feel that there is a problem with the goods supplied by us, send them back to us within 14 days of receipt. Be clear about your situation and we will respond as quickly as possible in order to resolve it amicably.

Note that all the goods are shipped well packaged and in perfect condition. We cannot be held responsible for climate conditions as soon as the goods have left us. Regarding foodstuffs and in accordance with current legislation, returns will not be accepted.
